Sabina Mensah is a PhD Candidate in Environmental Studies at the University of Oregon, United States, where her research focuses on community development, food systems, and social equity. She holds a Master of Environmental Management from Massey University, New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. With more than 10 years of professional experience in education, community development, research, and project management, she has worked across academia, nonprofit development, and community-based initiatives in Ghana and the United States.

Throughout her career, Sabina has led and supported development initiatives that have benefited thousands of farming households across Ghana and Ivory Coast, working closely with communities to improve livelihoods and access to resources. She has also served as an educator and continues to support student learning through her teaching and mentoring roles at the University of Oregon.

Her commitment to educational equity and community development inspired the creation of JustED Foundation. Through the foundation, she works alongside schools, families, and community partners to expand educational opportunities and help children across farming communities in Ghana learn, grow, and thrive.
